1. Who we are
This policy explains how Salam Solutions (“Salam”, “we”, “us”), ABN 53 408 635 078, handles personal information. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

4. How we collect it
- Directly from you, through our enquiry form, email, phone, meetings and agreements.
- Through filming at our clients’ workplaces, using smart glasses and other devices we supply.
- Through websites, chat assistants, missed-call follow-ups, booking systems, email lists and membership sign-ups we run for our clients.

5. Why we use it
- To respond to enquiries and provide quotes.
- To provide, manage and bill for our services.
- To create, edit, review and publish content for our clients.

- To keep our systems, devices and accounts secure.
- To meet our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
We don’t sell personal information.
6. Filming and consent
Every worker who will be filmed signs a consent form first, and can withdraw consent at any time. Customers, and anything that could identify them (faces, number plates, addresses), are blurred. Women and children are always blurred. A person reviews every clip before it is published. Anyone can ask us to review or remove published content by emailing support@salamsolutions.com.au.
7. AI tools
We use AI tools to help edit video, write captions, transcribe speech and answer messages. We send them only what’s needed for the task, and a person reviews content before it is published. We use AI providers whose terms don’t allow them to use our clients’ data to train their models, wherever that option is available.
8. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business and deliver our services, and only as needed. They include:
| Provider type | Examples | Where data may be held |
|---|---|---|
| Email and documents | Google Workspace | Australia and overseas, including the USA |
| Website enquiry form | Formspree | USA |
| Website hosting | Cloudflare | Global network, including the USA |

| Cloud storage, automation, messaging, booking, payments and email marketing | Providers we choose for each client’s services | Australia or overseas, as each provider’s terms set out |
Some of these providers store information outside Australia, mainly in the USA. We choose established providers with strong security, and we take reasonable steps to make sure they handle information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We may also share information when the law requires it, or with professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers.
9. Marketing
If we send you marketing emails or messages, we identify ourselves and include a simple way to unsubscribe. We follow the Spam Act 2003. You can opt out at any time by replying “unsubscribe” or emailing hello@salamsolutions.com.au.
10. Cookies
Our website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we’ll update this policy first.
11. Security
We protect personal information with access controls, two-step verification on our accounts, encrypted services, and limited access for the people who need it. Devices we lend to clients can be locked or wiped remotely if lost. No system is completely secure, so if a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will tell the people affected and, where required, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
12. How long we keep it

|---|---|
| Enquiries that don’t become clients | Up to 2 years |
| Client records, agreements and invoices | 7 years after the relationship ends (tax law) |
| Raw Footage | Up to 2 years after it was recorded, unless needed longer for a client’s content |

13. Access, correction and deletion
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@salamsolutions.com.au. We’ll respond within 30 days. If we can’t do what you ask (for example because the law requires us to keep it), we’ll explain why.
If we run systems for a business you’re a customer of, you can contact that business or us, and we’ll work with them to respond.
14. Complaints
